Our need was to preserve these seeds in the best possible conditions

In January 2021, TAMIA PACK visited our Nogent sur Seine site to vacuum-seal over 400 tonnes of cereal and rapeseed seeds, taking samples to monitor the germination rate of all batches. Our need was to store these seeds in the best possible conditions, potentially for two or even three growing seasons, allowing us to make savings by reducing our seed production plans. To date, the seeds have been stored perfectly, there are no additional storage costs, and the logistics involving 1200kg big bags are very easy to manage. We are so satisfied that we have renewed our trust in TAMIA PACK this year, 2022, with a new vacuum-sealing service for over 600 tonnes.

We have decided to preserve our organic seed stocks with the TAMIA PACK® process.

Following our last campaign, we decided to preserve our organic cereal seed stocks using TAMIA PACK's vacuum process. Our aim was to limit losses related to storage, and therefore our financial losses, with a chemical-free technology. We were very satisfied with the service provided by TAMIA PACK at the end of November in our Verneuil l’Etang factory in Seine et Marne. Since then, our on-site team checks the condition of the vacuum-sealed big bags daily, and they haven't moved at all. This is a real confirmation of the value of this technology, which already allows us to have significant volumes of good quality seeds to launch the next production campaign early.
