SEEDS

By preserving germinative capacity, the TAMIA PACK® process, implemented across all generations (from pre-basic to commercial seed), allows for the reduction of losses and therefore for the precise adjustment of production plans. GRAINS

Vacuum packaging of seeds and grains protects them from insects, but also destroys them at all life stages (eggs, larvae, adults).

This enables seeds and grains to be stored for long periods. In some cases, this feature of the TAMIA PACK® process can also be used to rid batches of insects within a short timeframe, and always without the use of insecticides. Tests carried out in 2022 on weevils at various temperatures and pressures showed that three weeks under vacuum destroyed 99% of the insects.
